McKenzie Blom, LCSWA

My name is McKenzie, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

I’m passionate about helping individuals find their voice, embrace their identity, and move toward healing and self-empowerment. Whether you’re navigating perfectionism, OCD, anxiety, depression, or adjusting after major life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for growth.

I work with adolescents and teens experiencing parental divorce, foster-care transitions, bullying, or the pressures of fitting in. I also support individuals that struggle with body-image concerns, self-criticism, and want to regain confidence in themselves. I am here for the individuals navigating the complex emotions of parenthood, including miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy after loss.

With a background in psychology, substance abuse, and social work, I bring an eclectic client-focused approach to our sessions. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT), and creative self-expression to explore how your past and present experiences shape your thoughts, behaviors, and perspectives. Together we’ll create a treatment plan that is tailored to fit your goals, helping you build insight, resilience, and practical strategies for meaningful change.

I have experience supporting individuals and families through moments of crisis, with a special understanding of the challenges faced by military families and veterans. I help clients develop practical strategies, new coping skills, and stability during emotionally overwhelming times. No topic is too heavy as we face it together.

Let's explore how your past and present experiences shape your patterns and perspectives—Empowering you to build resilience, insight, and a stronger sense of self.
